SAN DIEGO, September 24, 2026 – Catherine “Cat” Pray, Senior Partner at IntrepidX, has been named a finalist for Best Innovator: Stellar Women in the 2026 Relativity Innovation Awards. The category honors women across the legal data community who drive equity, lift up the people around them and open doors for their peers.
Pray brings nearly two decades of experience leading complex document review, with deep specialization in Hatch-Waxman pharmaceutical patent litigation, where she has directed hundreds of matters. Last year, she led the team behind IntrepidX’s Hatch-Waxman Pipeline Protection & Redaction Workflow, which paired Relativity’s AI-guided prioritization and Continuous Active Learning with inverse redaction to deliver court-ready productions in hours instead of weeks. The workflow earned IntrepidX the 2025 Relativity Innovation Award for Best Innovation: Workflows.
The Stellar Women nod reflects the other half of her work: the people. Pray is known for developing talent from within, building review teams that deliver under pressure, and fostering the values-driven culture she believes great work depends on.

Presented each year by legal data intelligence company Relativity, the Innovation Awards spotlight the individuals and solutions changing how legal professionals take on complex data challenges. Best Innovator finalists are chosen anonymously by a judging committee, and winners are decided by community vote.
